In short
AutoApplyMax is the free LazyApply alternative for LinkedIn: it auto-applies to LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs on its free plan and autofills other job sites, where you click Submit, with Premium at $6.99/month versus LazyApply's cheapest plan at $99/year.
If you want a bot that applies outside LinkedIn, FastApply and JobCopilot apply on employer career pages from their own servers, and LoopCV runs server-side job loops with a free plan. If you only need form filling, Simplify's Copilot autofill is free.

The alternatives, one by one
AutoApplyMax
A Chrome extension that runs in your own signed-in browser. On LinkedIn it opens each Easy Apply job from your search, fills every step, attaches your resume and submits, pausing when LinkedIn rate-limits. On every other job site it fills the form from your profile and you review and click Submit. The dashboard tailors your resume and cover letter to each job description and logs every application.
Better pick if: you apply mostly through LinkedIn Easy Apply, want a free plan to start, and want a resume tailored to each job before you send it.
LazyApply
LazyApply sells application volume: its pricing page lists 15, 150 or 1,500 applications a day depending on the plan, billed once a year, and says its Job GPT "automatically fills the job applications" on platforms "like Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and Ziprecruiter". Plans differ by the number of resume profiles (1, 5 or 20). Per-job resume tailoring is not described on its plan pages. Full comparison.
Better pick if: you want the highest daily application volume on US job boards and are fine paying for a year upfront.
FastApply
FastApply has two modes: "Apply for Me", an agent that applies for you on employer career pages, and "Browse & Apply", a Chrome extension that fills forms on 20+ job boards and ATSs (it names LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, Greenhouse and Naukri) while you watch. Plans are sold in monthly credits (one credit per submitted application); AI resume tailoring and cover letters cost extra per month.
Better pick if: you want a server-side agent applying on employer career sites at high volume, and do not mind paying extra for tailoring.
JobCopilot
JobCopilot says it "exclusively applies to verified jobs on official company career pages", from its own systems, and that you can send up to 50 personalized applications a day. Elite adds a tailored resume per application. Its Chrome extension only autofills: you review and submit. No free plan is listed. Full comparison.
Better pick if: you target company career sites rather than LinkedIn and want a hands-off service.
LoopCV
LoopCV runs "loops" on its own servers: it scans job boards daily and "submits applications on your behalf automatically", and it can email recruiters. Its Chrome extension ("Apply Tool") completes LinkedIn applications for jobs you pick in the LoopCV dashboard. It has a free-forever plan; paid plans start at €9.99/month. Full comparison.
Better pick if: you are in Europe, want a low-cost bot that keeps applying and emailing recruiters without your browser open.
Simplify (Copilot)
Simplify Copilot autofills applications "on 100,000+ company career sites in one click", and its help center tells you to click the employer's final Submit button yourself. Simplify+ adds AI resume tailoring, cover letters and Autopilot, which fills and submits on supported postings using 20 credits a week, with no review step before submission. Full comparison.
Better pick if: you apply mostly on company career sites (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever) and want a free, widely used autofill extension.
AIApply
AIApply's agent sources jobs, tailors your documents and submits applications for you, paid with auto-apply credits (one per application) that do not expire, alongside a Premium subscription for its resume, cover letter and interview tools. Its official pages do not publish prices or which sites it applies on.
Better pick if: you want a hands-off service paid per application and do not need to watch each submission.
When LazyApply is still the better pick
If raw daily volume on US job boards is what you want, LazyApply is built for it: its Ultimate plan lists 1,500 applications a day and up to 20 resume profiles. AutoApplyMax does not sell a daily number: on LinkedIn, LinkedIn itself limits how many Easy Apply applications an account can send, and outside LinkedIn AutoApplyMax only autofills.
When AutoApplyMax is the better pick
You apply mostly through LinkedIn Easy Apply, you want to start free, and you want each application to go out with a resume rewritten for that job. AutoApplyMax's AI only uses what is in your profile: it does not invent employers, titles or numbers.
Switching from LazyApply to AutoApplyMax
Sign up free and upload the resume you already use: it becomes your profile. Add the answers forms ask for (years of experience, salary, notice period, work authorization), install the Chrome extension and sign in with the same account.
On LinkedIn, run a search with the Easy Apply filter and click "Start auto-apply". On any other site, open the application form and click "Autofill this form". Turn off any other auto-apply extension first so two tools do not fill the same form.
